I'm so fed up, was going great guns and then stopped again I have 12cc in my 14cc band . I really thought a week ago I was experiencing hardly any hunger and then bam it's back. I've lost four stone since September last year and another four to go

Yes it is frustrating but you lost 56 pounds so far and that is awesome! Hang in there! I know about stones because my husband was from Ireland and I've bern to Ireland 18 times.

I have been banded since 12/28/12 and just when I think I've hit the green zone my body still wants to eat. I'm very optimistic however despite some setbacks I've had with an unsupportive doctor. He feels I'm losing too slow but I'm still losing! So hang in there!. I still have 70 lbs to go but that's my personal goal. My doctor would be happy (my surgeon) if I lost just 50 lbs more. I am determined to hit my goal and maintain it when I get there.

I wish you well in your weight loss journey and take it one day at a time. I'm setting my goals of losing 10 lbs at a time otherwise it becomes overwhelming.

Been for a further fill I'm up to 12.40 in my 14cc band and my nurse tells me that I'm doing fine. She thinks its psychological hunger and that I need to drink more fluids so that my brain keeps registering its full. I tried it today and it worked !

PMS gets me. Doing great, not hungry, eating small amounts. Then BAM! I'm hungry and I crave milk. And I shake my head as I know it's PMS. Been that way since I was a teenager. And I can eat more. Not pre band more but just more than the week before. So I have some of what I crave and spend a lil extra time on my bike.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
