You two are HILARIOUS! Mine was flipped 4 weeks after surgery so my port was revised. The Doc is great but the nutritional consultant can't tell me how to deal with the head hunger. Please advice! I only get dietary considerations from these two peeps!

I keep sugar-free Popsicle around for when I get head hunger and just need something to help it go away. I may eat 2 or 3, but it seems to work. Another thing is sugar-free Jello I don't like it as much but if I'm desperate. I'm thinking of checking in to sugar-free cool whip to see how many calories it has. If it is not to many I could add it to my jello. Good luck.

Mine still hurts and it has been 8 weeks. It is a sharp pain if I bend a certain way sometimes, not real bad though.

I'm 13 days in and not to tender at all. Guess I'm lucky

Lol he tells me to talk to my port before every refill I to told him he's mad and my Dr laughed at me.

3 weeks out & mine still hurst sometime. Dr said that's to be expected until it's healed.

5.5 years out and i still get pain at the port sometimes. i think mine snagged a nerve or something. If I bend just right I get a shooting pain that REALLY gets my attention.
