Im having troble I want to update my sig, but if i add a line it wont allow me , I even took out lines and had less then Ten, took off all grafics and still nothing..

any advice?

Because it's now *6* lines, and as you had originally posted it is limited to 500 characters.

Read Alexandra's original reply to you, and then read Suzanne's reply. She explains how to get more info and still have it be 6 lines.

Well, right now, you have 11 lines, and it only allows 6. You'll have to get rid of some lines, or condense them down, and maybe get rid of the blank lines... Good luck!

The sig restriction is actually a good thing. It keeps viewers from having to bypass too much space. Think of some of the sigs we've seen where you have to literally scroll the page just to get past it. :lol:

I agree wholeheartedly. I really hate when people have enormous signatures. It's too bad we don't have some kind of notepad feature on here where people can put as much detail as their heart desires. Then all the history stuff could be there instead of in people's sigs.

Another part of your problem is that you have "wasted" lines - ones that aren't doing a thing. If you took these out, you could replace them with more lines of the information you want to have. For example, in red below:

<TABLE class=tborder id=post454478 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=8 width="100%" align=center border=0><TBODY><TR vAlign=top><TD class=alt1 id=td_post_454478 style="BORDER-RIGHT: 1px solid">NEW GOAL 219 BY Nov 2010_8_12.gif

<!-- / sig --></TD></TR><TR><TD class=alt2 style="BORDER-RIGHT: 1px solid; BORDER-TOP: 0px solid; BORDER-LEFT: 1px solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: 1px solid">user_offline.gifreputation.gif <SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbrep_register("454478")</SCRIPT>  infraction.gif   report.gif   ip.gif  </TD><TD class=alt1 style="BORDER-RIGHT: 1px solid; BORDER-TOP: 0px solid; BORDER-LEFT: 0px solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: 1px solid" align=right><!-- controls -->progress.gif</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
