Early june 2013 banders?

Recommended Posts

I attempted to sleep in bed last night( I had been sleeping in the recliner). I didn't sleep worth a flip. I was constantly awake and asleep. Sore in my shoulders. Will this stupid gas ever go away? So I'm up way to early and back in my recliner hoping to doze a bit more. Good luck to everyone venturing back to work today! Take it easy!

I went back to work today and I feel pretty good still. I'm tired, but not exhausted. I'm sorry you're having such a bad day today :-( When can you have a Protein shake? I was allowed at day 3. I hope it gets better dear, hang in there.

Went back to work. Went well. Was very tired by end of the day but amazed that Friday I felt so bad and went back today .. So amazing. I did finally sleep in my bed but wasn't that comfortable .. Just have pain in stomach area ..think the gas is gone .

Weird how everyone's diets are different . I was told clear for one day.. Full liquids two weeks .. Three days puréed and then soft. On 4th day of full .. And I can't wait to eat real food. Guess that will come soon enough .

I thought about you a lot yesterday! Glad everything went well for you back at work! I am on Clear Liquids for the first week- week 2 I can move to solid liquids- Protein shakes her I come!-week 3 is soft, mushed, puréed foods, and week 4 is solid foods. My Protein Shakes were keepi g me full and right now that's what I am struggling with. Still have some gas:( I go back to the doc tomorrow afternoon and I'm hoping he will let me have a Protein Shake tomorrow night for dinner. If not I cannot wait til Thursday- that will be a week.

On a bright note- since starting my preop diet 15 days ago I have lost 16 pounds:)

Sitting at home unable to do much has my mind racing from boredom. However I just realized in 13.7 pounds I will be in Onederland!! I haven't been there in 13 years! Motivation in itself!

Lucky! I'm thinking of going back on my Protein shakes tomorrow. It's day 6 one day early, but I am starving!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
