Changes in the way you react to medication?

I haven't lost enough weight to make a difference, but I have noticed differences in the way I react to medication. Has anyone else experienced this? Some seem to be much stronger, especially pain or migraine (Axert, Maxalt). Things that used to make me sleepy now keep me awake and the opposite.

    Yes........I may be imagining this but after lunch (and taking my Metformin) I am tired, not refueled. I cant NOT take it, readings are still to high WITHOUT it. But I feel sluggish lately. However, Midol (cut up with pill cutter) works with ONE!!!!!!!!! Same with Tylenol!
