Hi all!

We have made some changes to the notification preferences for members. Members who previously had "Immediate" notifications have been changed to "Offline" notifications. Please see below for the difference in how to the two types of notifications work, as well as an explanation for the change - and how to revert back to immediate notifications.

Offline Notifications:

Offline notifications will send you notifications only when you are not online. If you are offline, and a topic you're following is replied to, or a new topic is posted in a forum you're following - you will only receive one notification about that particular topic or forum. Once you visit the topic or forum again, it will reset the notification and again only once you're offline and a new reply has been posted.

Immediate Notifications:

Immediate notifications will send you a notification for every reply to a topic you're following and for every new topic posted in any forum you're following. Immediate notifications will notify you regardless of whether you are online or offline.

We've made this change to comply with modern e-mail practices to maintain a high deliverability rate and to reduce the number of spam complaints that we receive.

If you would like to continue receiving immediate notifications as describe, you can most certainly choose to do so. You may follow the instructions below to enable immediate notifications:

Enable Immediate Notifications:

  • Click here to go to your Notification Preferences.

  • Ensure that you have "Auto follow topics I reply to" checked.

  • Change "Notification frequency" from "Offline" to "Immediate".

  • While you're here - go ahead and review the options available for your e-mail notifications and select only the ones you're interested in - and deselect anything else.

  • Click "Save Changes". Now your settings will be saved and you'll be notified about everything you've selected on an immediate basis.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
