Hi all! I'm new here and in the process of having my lap band approved! I'm so excited and nervous the same time. I've learned alot reading the information from everyone and can't wait till I'm banded!!! :D

    Congratulations on taking steps for a new YOU and hopefully better health. Just follow all yoru doctor's orders when you receive them and the sooner you start a lighter diet the better it will be in shrinking your liver prior to surgery. I started mine close to trwo months before being banded, by using prtein shakes and dinner salads (vinegar/oil) and many Soups.
