I'm getting banded in 12 days. Can someone tell my why you get stuck, what happens when your stuck n how this all feels?

I highly recommend Jean McMillans book Bandwagon. It's got an amazingly comprehensive overview of everything you need to know about life with a band.

I do not have the band yet, but will on the 8th but I can tell you what jean says in her book.

It's when you eat too fast and put too much food or food not chewed well enough into your pouch and it backs up into your esophogus. It feels like a golfball under your sternum and can be very uncomfortable. It usually passes in 30-45 minutes unless it's a large piece of meat or something that just can't go through your stoma.
