ok what is Big Love?

Me and DH love love love House. I've gotten most of my friends and coworkers watching it too. My fav shows have been Sex and the City and all the law and orders. In the past few days I've become addicted to that Real Housewives of Orange County. How horrible is that? hahaha

Thank God for Tivo!

Big Love is on HBO after Sopranos...I love it! About a Morman family in Utah, one husband, three wives. Funny, drama, sex, it has everything...

I refuse to pay for cable since I believe that static will encourage me to go outside (discipline through torture), it hasn't worked yet. I couldn't care less about TV Thursday through Sunday with the exception of MadTV Sat night. They are doing Stuart re-runs which I adore...

Aside from my family's favorite - American Idol, mine is Prison Break on Monday night. Where has Wentworth Miller been... gawd. I know I am too old for crushes but...

big sigh :drama:

Time to rent Dinotopia and the Human Stain. Thank you IMDB :grouphug:

House can be pretty good, but the reason I love it is the banter between Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard. <- before I looked it up I was going to call him the Oncologist from Dead Poets Society, hee hee.

Morsaille, I said that too. we saw an interview with him - he's been with the "boys" apparently, he admitted he's gay.

His eyes are sooooo....ummm...dreamy? lol wouldn't we all like to have lips like that ...

ok back to work for me before I get in trouble...

The community we live in, the HOA fees include basic cable :grouphug:

I couldn't tell you 99% of the shows out there. I'm probably missing some good ones just because I only watch what I tivo, and I only tivo what I like. :grouphug: In no particular order...

HBO's Carnivale (hoping for 3rd)

Dirty Jobs

Real World and RW/RR challenges

Prison Break

Ghost Hunters

South Park

Just about anything on HGTV or TLC.

 OK! I might have a bit much on my TiVo...Here it goes...

In random order as I can remember them:

All CSI's...Ghost Hunters...Scrubs...ER...Law & Order-ALL...Sopranos...Nip/Tuck...Blow Out...Unwrapped...Most Haunted...Derek Acorah's Ghost Towns...As the World Turns...Guiding Light...Bold and the Beautiful...Oprah...Bones...America's Funniest Home Videos...SG1(DH)...BattleStar Galactica (DH)...American Choppers...24 (DH)...Deparate Housewives...Footballer's Wives (BBC America...OMG It can get raunchy!)...America's Next Top Model...Inked...Miami Ink...American Idol...Big Brother...Deadwood...Hope and Faith...I know there might be more but I have had a brain fart! :faint:

Some of these I watch on my own and some we watch together and then some of them are for DH...And then some I read the info and if it doesn't seem interesting I delete it or fast forward...so an hour show might take me just 10-15 minutes. :)

Kathy, glad someone finally mentioned Deadwood, when is that coming back on? I like Big Love too, so often you know the punch line before it's said. Call me a kill joy, but it seems like all the shows are the same, except for Deadwood, Sopranos and Big Love. I like Confessions of a Taxi Driver too, hehehe

Sometimes it's just nice to have quiet :speechles .

CSI (all 3)

The Office (the funniest show on TV)

My Name is Earl

ER

Survivor

American Idol

Sopranos

Big Love

Wife Swap (hysterical)

Law and Order (SVU mostly)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
