How to Attach a Picture to a Post

Recommended Posts

Thanks Tricia - I'll try and be patient. I can feel them under there, and even once in a bathroom mirror I saw a shadow of something there, but alas... still no collar bones :-).

Kathy - I think you're adorable. I understand the big nose issue (great genes)... but you look really good. Remember Jennifer Gray (i think is the name)... anyway the one from Dirty Dancing? She was soooooo pretty (imperfections and all), then got a nose job and in my opinion it took away all of her imperfect good looks and she looked nothing like the girl she did before. I think you're teeth are kinda cool, too. I thought about getting a nose job before, but once I saw what it did to the little girl from the movie, I thought better to leave well enough alone.

You'll have to edit the picture in a photo editor. If you have a digital camera, chances are it came with software for managing your photos. If not, then you can go online and get a number of free programs. A good one is irfanview: http://www.irfanview.com It will have a tutorial on how to resize pics.

Good luck!

Thanks very much, but I followed these instructions for uploading my picture. However, it still does not appear in my postings.

Are you trying to upload pictures or are they already online somewhere?

It would be nice to know how to do it either way.

Computers are not my specialty and I tend to get frustrated fast trying to figure things out. My son helps me out sometimes, but LBT is my own thing.

I followed the instructions in the original post word for word and it worked. I did have to use the "QUOTE" option to get the paper clip to show up.

Not my best picture but far from my worst.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
