Sorry guys. Apparently the original post wasn't appreciated by a member. So, I deleted it in the only way I could figure out. It was a comical take on lap band struggles.

:) you wrote down youre experiences and for people who have just had the band or are thinking about getting the band i thought it would be confusing for them since those r ur experiences and not everyone is the same but if you want to repost and tell them what you wrote i have no problem with that i just wrote down my opion that also required no reply or for it to be deleted best of luck

Good or bad experiences should be encouraged! There are no experiences that are the same, whether they are good or bad!!! It's important to be educated on both when making an important decision! No one should ever feel they need to hide their story!

I have noticed a lot of anger from bandsters who don't get the whole story and feel "duped" as one bandster recently posted. People do need to hear the good, bad, and ugly to make an informed decision about the band. If people get scared about what the reality of living with the band is like, they might need to choose a surgery that is better suited to their needs.

That being said, I think you have a very good point about not wanting to scare the Newbies. Ultimately, getting the weight off and being healthy is more important than fear of puking. Newbies might be scared and not realize that, they might get overwhelmed, they might not have any surgery at all. So, I pulled the post down. I think there is probably a better way for me to share the realities of band life. Although, I did get a few chuckles writing it all out. No harm, no foul. Let's shake hands Jenc87 and move on. I look forward to seeing you around the forums. :-)

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
