Over the holidays I ate more than I should and things that were the healiest (gained around 2 lbs which is gone again now). I am back to my pre-holiday weight 197. My last fill was mid Nov.

I am finding right now I am getting hungry on my 1 cup (I am doing like I should now) before the 3-4 hours is up. I am not talking head hunger, I am talking I am shaking and nauseated hunger. I had my sugar tested - neg. Yes, I have called my surgeon, appt. Tuesday.

My question for you all is..... can I have dialated my band with out knowing it by eating 1.5 cups at a time? I have had no major stuck spells and no vomiting spells. I do still have times where if I don't chew well enough I get tightness and a little pb'ing but it disapates quickly.

I have an appointment on Tuesday, I am just wondering is my band ok or is it just time for another fill?

time for another fill. I can not over eat on the good stuff but junk goes down to easlily so I am so glad the holidays are over. You will know better after Tuesday but it takes a lot more then that to move the band or hurt it.

~hugs~ Hun...

Im not sure if you do or not need another fill...

Go to your dr appt and see what you weigh on his scale....and Im not sure what sorta form he has you fill out but mine ask what i have eattin in the last weeks since last visit....and then see what he says....if you really feel a lil fill will help...ask him for a lil bit of a fill.....

Not saying yours is but is it possible your mostly having head hunger..?

Which is worse then real hunger...but you CAN work through it...~hugs~

My nurse told me your band doesn't get looser. Just saying. Make sure you are drinking enough, I have noticed when I don't drink enough I am hungry. If its not meal time I Definately. Drink 16-20 ounces before I eat anything. Good luck.

If you loose fat from around the stomach where the band is located it will be "loser".

It's my understanding by the videos I have seen on here there isn't much to lose where the band is placed. Isn't it at the base of the esophagus? Also I'm just repeating what I was told. I don't claim to be a doctor.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
