Your Last Supper......

Ok.. I know its a dramatic title....but I thought it would be fun to hear what every one's last meal was or will be before starting your pre op diet... I have to think back 2 years but I will always remember it fondly. I had 10 chicken wings w bleu cheese of course, loaded fries and 3 margaritas. About 1500 to 1800 calories... Funny how that really disgusts me now...

What was your meal of choice?

I made a whole day out of it. My mom and I went to lunch then I got cup cakes from this bakery. That night my friends and family went to Outback for a "last supper". My favorite is the Tawamba pasta. Then we got krispy kreme doughnuts. I was stuffed.

Truth be told.. I had the last supper I posted but the week before hubby and I went on a road trip up the gulf coast and spent 4 days grazing on everything I thought I would never eat or drink again. Turn out I can still eat seafood which is a HUGE deal to me. I haven't induldged in the adult beverages... They are just empty calories,

what a funny cool topic!

I can't remember what my last meal was but i'm positive it was 1500+ calories

blech...

We had been out because of a basketball game which my daughter ended in the hospital to have xrays on her finger(s), so I had McDonald's. A quarter pounder meal with ff and a coke. Not my ideal last meal but one I will remember forever. The only thing I've eaten from McDonald's in the last year has been a salad.

I had homemade tortillas, barbacoa, tamales and menudo at my moms. Lets not forget the pico de gallo, avacado and good ole big red. Lol The exact things that got me where I am today...but man it was delicious! Mexican food is my weakness. Surgery is Thursday the 15th and I am so ready for the change. Good night and God Bless! :)

Oh and by the way, that was the Sunday before Halloween. Sure does seem like a long time ago. Haven't had solids in 12 days. :(

My husband took me to a very nice restaurant tonight. I had lobster risotto and bananas flambé, it was wonderful. I'm very excited about moving forward.

Just wait... Time flies when you are losing!!! The last 2 years really flew by!!

My last day was in thanksgiving day! I ate until I thought I was going to explode and then ate leftovers before bed!!

I'm so glad I've read this! To be honest after reading some of the threads lately, I've been a little scared to post! I don't have a surgery date yet but should have an idea of when on Wednesday. I'm planning on having enchiladas from my favorite restaurant as my last meal. Saddest part? The restaurant is an hour away, but we're road tripping baby!!

I have been banded now for 6wks and posted on the first page and after reading back all of this stuff(just for fun), it has made me nauseous .

I love my band!!!!

I am scheduled for surgery on Thursday, 11/29. I do not have a pre-op diet because I have lost over 25 pounds on my own. Tomorrow my husband and I are going out to lunch for fried calamari and THE best pizza in New Jersey, Pete & Elda's. I don't know what else I will have this week. I don't want to overdo it cause I have worked really hard to get where I already am. But I am hoping I can get in some veal sorrentino from my favorite Italian restaurant, too. And a piece if tiramisu!

I am so excited that I am getting banded on Tuesday- didn't have to do a pre-op liquid diet so I am gettin loads of ideas for my "last supper" for tomorrow.
