Wonderful Tastes!

I don't know if it's just me, but everything tastes so wonderful. I don't know if it is not drinking soda, not eating processed foods, or what but food tastes unbelievable! Is it just me? I was banded 8/13 of this year. Foods I just ate before have turned in something extraordinary. I wouldn't dream of putting cocktail sauce on shrimp- the shrimp flavor explodes in my mouth. Salad, no dressing, the tastes are so wonderful! Is this just me? What a wonderful, unexpected bonus! I feel like the most ordinary foods have unbelievable flavor now. What a joy!

I believe that you feel this way because you have a new and life-altering relationship with food. It's a new way of life and eating, and you want to make sure that what you eat is the right choice.

I totally understand how you feel. I was banded on 8/22, and my relationship with food has changed. I look at food differently now. I don't eat the way I used to, and I don't eat things I used to either. It almost makes me ill to look back at how I much I used to eat. Sometimes I think I my be too hard on myself as I measure, weigh, and track everything that I eat, but I know it will all pay off in the long run.

So celebrate and appreciate your new relationship with food!!!
