Sounds like you are too tight. I'd ask to move up your appointment.

I've heard a lot of people having a tough time in the morning, and that warm liquids can help "relax" the band opening.

I never had a tough time until I got another fill on Monday. I'm back up to my regular diet today and it feels like Breakfast is sitting in my throat. I don't think I'm over-filled, I'm eating my portions fine without feeling overly full, but I think I need to move Breakfast to a little later in the day.

Always best to pass it by your surgeon though.

Hello KImj384,

How long has it been since your last fill and how long after it did you start feeling this way? I am sitting here in the exact same place as you, after my last fill 2 weeks ago I was so happy that I was finally in the green zone for the 1st time since my surgery over a year ago,but in the last few days it seems that it has tightened a bit, at least in the mornings, I have ordered some Unjury to add to coffee in the mornings (even tho I am not a coffee drinker) it has really great reviews and with the warming effect I think it will make lunch time a little more pleasant, from what I have read is that the band loosens as you lose weight, for me going for an unfill seems redundant especially since they only added ¼ of a CC . I’m going to try and tough this one out, but I will be keeping a close eye on this topic, hope things get easier for you. Thank you for posting!

Hello thanks for replying! I had a fill jun 4 and have been having stuck episodes ever since so I've been sticking to nothing but slider foods and Soups I can barely get aanything else down and I'm just getting sick of it it's so exhausting!!! I would rather not eat at all because I'm scared I would have to throw it back. So I stick to what I know will go down and sometimes my slider foods don't want to go down easy! I would rather get some takin out instead of living day to day wondering if I will be able to eat anything!!! I barely even drink during the day because I'm battling my food for hours. I'm miserable. I have went from 189 to 173 but it's by not eating and I have 0 energy to work out it's been 2 months since I worked out.

Omg!!!!! I had 7.5cc in 10cc band and I had 1.4 takin out and I can already tell the difference!!!!! Amazing difference! I drank a whole bottle of Water without gurgling or hurting! I would definely think about getting some takin out!!!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
