Need A Friend

Recommended Posts

I log all my food on myfitnesspal' date=' it's a great app. Add me as a friend (ajtexas0) and you can view my daily meals. Basically, eggs for Breakfast, sandwich using sandwich thins and lean lunch meat with cottage cheese or a boiled egg, greek yogurt for mid afternoon snack, lean meat and a veggie for dinner. I drink a couple of glasses of wine in the evening (I know some bandsters have issues with that) and yes I do count the calories in. If I get evening munchies I have peanuts.

As for exercise, I'm just starting to push myself more. I ride a stationary bike for 30 minutes in the evening. About 5 nights a week. Just last week I got a Fitbit, basically its a pedometer on steroids. I really like it. It counts flights of stairs climbed and i work on the 8th floor of an office building so I've been trying to climb as many flights as I can in a day. My best day was 17.....course my legs felt like they where falling off.

My best advise is set small goals, look at what you can do this week, or this month. Don't look at the big goal cause that is to far away and you will get frustrated and give up. My current goal is to climb 15 flights of stairs 5 days in a row by the end of August. Once I reach that I'll try 7 days a week, etc.

Good luck to you. PM me and I'll send you my email so we can keep in touch, check on each other.[/quote']

What does PM mean, I suck at computers, so I'm guessing u can send me your email address. Maybe u can PM me so I know what u mean. Does it mean post me

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
