I can't and don't eat more than 1 cup of food in a seating. I can only eat 1 small leaf and the cheese & bacon from a carsar salad. I am tight and in the green zone. Hope that helps.

I can only eat about a cup of food... but salad goes thru my band like water! (and some people can't eat it at all)

I am one of the ones that cannot eat salad anymore. Well, sometimes I get lucky and get a few bites but usually it ends up with a bad sticking episode and lots of slime and PB. I know how you feel about - "I used to eat that and more" WoW, no wonder I was fat. I am amazed at how little I eat and I am still healthy and alive. Down 104 in 1 yr so this thing does work. Congrats on your weight loss and your journey - By the way, chicken Cesear salad sure sounds good. maybe just the chicken and the dressing for me. hahaha

My husband just pointed out last night that I "eat like a bird". I took it as a compliment actually! The thought of eating 3-4 pieces of pizza or a hamburger and fries in one sitting seems SO unreal to me now. I know there's no way I could do it. And that...feels great :)

I remember talking to my nutritionist a few months before surgery and being horrified at the thought of eating 1 cup per meal. Never thought I could eat that little. Now I get to 1 cup and my body tells me that's enough!

I can eat salads but rarely do. Lettuce takes me forever to chew.

Ohhh... how posts like these make me wish my fill was sooner! I cannot wait to be eating a cup of food and feel satisfied! It sounds like you all are doing great.

Keep up the great work!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
