7-10 only. I am 209, so I can't go to low, although they also said that they go by first weight. I have been dieting anyways as I have vacation coming up (I always crash diet for cruising). I am afraid I am really gonna jack this up, or my liver, or kidneys or something. ughhhh.

The #1 thing that helped me get through the liquids was making a list of the 25 reasons I want to lose weight. I read it every time I felt like giving up' date=' and I still do.

If you can, try mixing it up with different textures of liquids. sugar free Jello, sugar free Popsicle, and hot tea. I also literally threw away ALL the food in my house before I started.[/quote']

The list idea is great! Its helping me now! Thanks!

No. I'm on day 6 and have lost 10 pounds so far. But he didn't give me a goal. But I was hoping I would lose at least 15!

I think mine was mostly Water weight. Also I was only getting like maybe 500 calories a day because I would only have 2 shakes. Can't stand them!

Once your have the approval from your insurance, you don't have to worry about dropping below the required BMI. I had to go back and repeat the 6 month diet for too low of BMI. However, once the approval was , I started on the liver shrink preop diet and dropped below again. This time it didn't matter since the insurance had already approved the surgery.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
