Teeth Grinding

Never have I done this before in my life. I would know because of the pain that I am experiencing now. I was banded on May 15th. A few days after banding, my hubby woke me up and said I was grinding my teeth. For the last 4 days, I have woken up with severe jaw pain and headaches. Apparently, this is something I have just started since the surgery. I got a night guard last night, but it really didn't help to much. I was still in pain today.

Has anyone else had this or heard of it?

Many of us (people in general, not just banded people) grind and/or clench our teeth during times of stress. The best way to deal with it is to decrease our stress. I know this is easier said than done. Maybe being banded has you stressed out? If so, learn to enjoy the experience instead of stressing over it.
