So, for 13 years, this outfit has been, as my daughter would say, "mocking me" in my closet. It's a size 16 pants suit. I wore it one time to a friends rehearsal dinner. After that, I started putting on weight and hung it in my closet because "someday it would fit." Well, my "someday" is here. I tried it on, and it FITS!!!!! So, off to the dry cleaners to get 13 years of dust off of it. Its a beautiful suit, bright mustard yellow, and very well made, so it's still in excellent shape. I am wearing it on Easter Sunday with a brand new pair of rainbow colored sling back wedges! Color, open toe heels, and size 16, oh yeah!.

Then, I went shopping and was looking at size 16 dresses, and well, they actually looked to big, so I began looking at the 14's. I found a real pretty one, and decided to try it on for fun, because I was only window shopping. Well, what do you know? That dress fit too! And it just zipped right up the back, with room to spare!

Who says the band doesn't work? I started at a size 26, and didn't wear dressed because me legs rubbed together, and here I sit talking about getting into a 14 dress!

Congratulations! You not only feel like a million but will look like a million bucks! As well as being the talk at the Easter dinner table. Enjoy and soak it all up, you deserve it!

Great job!

I also started out in a size 26. I was 326 the day I started my physician's supervised diet last April. I have lost 79 pounds since then and am in a size 20 right now. It's great to dig out old clothes that I had gotten too fat for and have them fit now. The smallest size in my closet is an 18, so it won't be long until I have to start going shopping for some 16's. It's so exciting!!

Congrats to you and enjoy your Easter looking and feeling fabulous!!

I love your story! Way to go!

I know what you are talking about I have a bad habit of not trying on clothes when I go shopping and if they don't fit when I get home I would just put them in my closet with every intention of getting my weight down enough to fit into them. Well the problem is I have now lost so much in a short amount of time even those are too big...LOL! I have a pair of pants that I just bought 2 weeks ago that are 2 sizes smaller and they are now too big. I am so excited for you and hope the next time you go shopping you will be in a 12.....You go girl!!!!

BTW, ya'll, I only have a few of them in my closet at this point, but the first time I fit into a size 14 (at my highest I was inching toward a 26), I broke down in tears in the Torrid dressing room because I was so overjoyed. :)

Yeah!!!!!!

OMG doesn't it feel sooooo good!!!! KEEP IT UP UR DOING GREAT skinny chick ;)

Congrats on both NSV's! excellent feeling, isn't it?

It is awesome! I'm glad also to be an inspiration to people! That is truly an amazing feeling. I fought so hard to get my band, and to experience it actually working and be able to share with other people is just wonderful!!!
