No kidding! LOL I've tried to change things up a bit. I have strawberry Body Fortress (WalMart) 26gr a scoop, added to 1 cup of skim milk 8gr then added a pkt of WonderSlim (online) pudding/smoothie mix 15gr. add some ice and blend. It tasted pretty good and gave me a good amount of Protein. I've been having trouble getting enough each day. Yesterday I did 2 scoops of the body fortress for 52gr. That really helps the day. I sip it over probably a two hour period, suggested by the nurse at my doctors offce.

Incisions are still sore, tender. Some gas pains still. Had surgery Thursday and quit the pain pills on Sunday. It's not that bad.

I had my surgery this past Monday the 26th and still experiencing gas pains. Tried Gas X to no avail. Any recommendations? How long does the gas last?

Still tryna figure out how to post a question. I saw that Phazyme works for gas so I will try that. The Gas X is not working. Is it typical to continue experiencing gas 4 days after surgery?

The gas can last for a week or more. U have to walk walk walk. It is not inside ur stomachs so has x isn't gonna get rid of it

Ok, thx! It is driving me crazy, but I will push thru it and keep on walking. So, the Phazyme wnt work either?

I don't know if it will or not but a heating pad is helpful. Ur body has to absorb the air. That's why the walking helps so much :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
