Photo/avatar Help Needed.

Recommended Posts

I have been trying for days to change my photo/avatar. I go to my settings, change the photo. The new photo will show, but when I click "Save Changes", the old photo will reappear.

I even went to lengths to remove my old photo from the system, even from my desk top, but it keeps coming up not matter what.

Any ideas??

Hello,

I have verified this issue. I'm currently working on a fix. I'll update this thread as soon as I've gotten it resolved. In the mean time, your photo *IS* updating, however it's being cached for 24 hours - therefore it may not show properly until that time period has lapsed.

Thanks,

Ken

Thanks;

I did manage to change it using a "Gravatar"

I like your new photo, B-52. My own photo changed when the new forum started. This is my new avatar, it is me and my Dad. It was the last pic of the 2 of us! Karen

My avatar pic and my profile pic used to be different. Can we no longer do it that way?

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
