Yes I do. I massage my belly with Sensura Massage Oil made with Calendula, which has healing and relaxation properties for scars, bruises, stretch marks & dry skin (it gets down into the muscles.) The stuff is amazing considering how great my belly looks after 5 surgeries.

I'm a tea tree oil fan. I use it for all things topical and have great results with it. My scars from surgery are nearly nonexistent.

I use just regular cocobutter lotion. I was thinking of using Vitamin E on my scars but I like the Tea Tree Oil idea from Pam... I have to look into that. My scares are really really bad.

when getting lotions, be sure to look at the ingredients. Any lotions that contain any sort of alcoholwill dry out the skin, and will cause scars to not dissapear the way they should. If you see alcohol, stay away. Any other lotion without alcohol, that contain Vitamin E is great for your skin all over. I also use a soap that I get here at a local shop that contains goat's milk. It has so many great properties, nd leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. I also sometimes use a soap with olive oil in it, but the goats milk is by far my favorite.

I rub Vitamin E oil into my scars every morning. At night I rub aloe lotion all over me, tummy included. My scars are healing/fading nicely.

I love Palmers Cocoa Butter formula I always use it all over, I'm also extremely partial to fragranced body lotions - never buy perfume without buying the matching lotion. I notice Palmers do a scar/stretch mark oil too. I am using a little bit of Bio Oil on my scars (not sure if this is an Australian only) product and they are healing up really really nicely, lots of their redness is gone after only 2 months.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
