Throwing Up All The Time, Making Me Tired At Work

Recommended Posts

I agree - that you must go for a un:clap2: fill, but - if you must vomit at work or anywhere you might try turning on the Water - that is what I have done when it became necessary - it is a distraction to the vomitting sound! Also, when people thought that i was crying because my eyes were watery fromm vomitting- i just said that i had allergies.

Jen and Collegeteacher? I hope you both have had a chance to go get an unfill. Not only is being over-filled dangerous, it is just plain miserable. I'm so sorry you both thought you should be that tight for the band to work.

The band is not surgically induced bulima.

Thank you for all the kind words, advice and support. I talked to my doctor and he said stress was triggering these complications. I also noticed with all this weight loss that I am not as restricted now, I can't eat like I did before the fill, but I am seeing how I can portion foods out. Only when I really make bad food choices do I have PB now. I still have loads of stress, but I am learning how to deal with it.

Stress will definately do it. I had to have an unfill during a particularly stressful time last year.

Glad you are feeling better!

HI MY NAME IS ANN, I HAD MY BAND 15 MONTHS AGO AS OF SATURDAY. I AGREE YOU DON'T WANT TO DO DAMAGE TO YOUR SYSTEM ESPECIALLY AROUND YOUR PORT. I HAD 3 FILLS AND 1 UNFILL MY UNFILL WAS LAST MARCH I HAD MY TONSILS TAKEN OUT LAST FEBRARY AND HAD A FILL DONE A MONTH LATER BOY THAT WAS NOT FUN I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN. BUT THEY DO PUT THE FILL BACK IN BUT HAD TO WAIT UNTIL MY STOMACH SETTLED DOWN. THE UNFILL IS NOTHING DOESN'T HURT AT ALL. I PERSONALLY THINK YOU SHOULD SAY SOMETHING TO YOUR DOCTOR THAT DID YOUR LAP-BAND SURGERY.

HUGS ANN BANDED 11/18/04:) :clap2:

I also have thrown up, because the band doesn't fix the emotional eating or the "it taste good" eating. I got fat because I ate after I was full, so it has been a hard thing trying to stop when the "full" feeling comes. This is something I'm still dealing with after two years.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
