Some of the things I enjoyed

1. Gourmet pureed Soups (there are a lot of great premium Soups out there that taste great)

2. pureed vegetables (carrots, butternut squash, turnip, sweet potato)

3. Weight Control Quaker oatmeal pureed in the blender. Or cream of wheat

4. mashed potatoes (add milk to make them a bit more liquidy)

5. college inn makes a great hearty beef broth and chicken broth. I think it's called Bold stock or something like that. Awesome flavor alone, or add other things to it in the blender

6. Cottage cheese (my doctor let me eat this during the liquid phase)

7. Premier Nutrition protien drinks (you can find these in Costco) Great flavor and 30g of protien per drink. 11oz, so it really fills you up

Hope this helps. Good luck!

I am also in the thicker liquid stage but I am a boring eater. Just thought I would give you my sympathy. today was my one week check up and have lost 10 lbs.....it must have been the 48 ice pops I ate plus the sugar free Jello (see boring eating)...that was my clear liquid week.....so far starting today it looks like my week is going to be Protein Shakes and yogurt.....the thought of mashed potatoes, pureed anything, etc does nothing for me....I think sugar free pudding is also on my list so might include that...I am sure I have not been the least bit of help but I find the fastest and easiest way to eat the best. IF I ever get into a real cookery mood (if that is a word) I bought a few cans of cambell's cream Soups and might heat one up and use the immersion blender to get the lumps out.....now that sounds like a real meal.....good luck

chicken and corn Soup, yoghurt, pumpkin soup, bolognese sauce pureed up with extra Tomato, silken tofu mashed wth stuff (sweet or savoury), pureed fruits - either fruit that is purchased already pureed, or just get some canned fruit and puree it yourself, applesauce...

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
