having lap band in 2 weeks?????

hello everyone, i am setup to have the lap band procedure done in a couple of weeks in dallas texas with dr. wade barker has anyone had good or bad experiences with this dr? please let me know i'm very interested to know upfront. also on the fills what do they cost on average? i live about 100 miles from dallas but the small town i;m from doesn't know anything about lap band so you know how that goes. sounds like you all have had some very wonderful experiences as well as some bad ones. so any advice or info would be greatly appreciated and would be alot of help to me. thank you all so much and good luck to all. hope to hear from you all...

Read, read, read every thread you can possibly get your hands on. Research is absolutely the best thing you can do to prepare yourself for the whole experience. There is LOTS of experience here, good and not so good. You need to know it all.... Good luck!

I would have said exactly the same thing! Read the old threads as well as the new ones. You'll find lots of valuable information on here, just for taking the time to read it. Good Luck!
