I went to install Google Chrome & Ad-Ware...

It never got installed, instead my screen went black, and I lost all my start up Icons.

Also it's telling me that my hardware is Damages or Corrupt.

I have tried to back my computer up to a earlier date, hoping to avoid the problem.

This is the first time, that I could not get that to go threw, it just crashes.

(now mind you I don't use that unless necessary...)

So anyone that is a wiz in the computer, I am retired, and not a computer settings person.

If you can get back to this laptop with some info, on what to do. I will try so that I can get my

Icons back. Even my Internet Explorer is gone. So a cry for HELP !!!!!
