I got my second fill on Tues, 4 days ago, & I still can't keep solid food down. I can't even keep luch meat down, even if I chew it forever! I am super hungry but the second I try to eat I'm throwing up forever... Do u think I nedd a unfill, minf u my doc is 2 and a half hrs away, or should I give it some more time? My doc only does fills on tuesdays so if I don't go this tues I'll have to wait a week longer. It's nice to finally have some.restriction but I also would like to get more than 500 cal in a day. It's hard to have energy to work out!

I think you are too tight for sure. I have been tight, and hesitated to go to the doc. because I though it might be swelling. Every time I ended up getting an unfill. I suffered longer than necessary. After the unfill I had pretty good restriction. I would call for an appt. monday morning. Tell them it's an emergency if they give you any trouble with fitting you in. My doc.'s office was really good about that. The doc even came in from the hospital on a day he's usually not in the office. Hope you feel better soon!

You definitely sound too tight. I'd call Monday and make an appt. for Tuesday, you can always cancel it if you wake up Tues. morning and seem looser.

You're definitely too tight! I was too tight and waited 2 weeks for things to settle down and was throwing up all of the time. I went in for an unfill and still was throwing up, finally went in and had a complete unfill and I'm still throwing up. They think I slipped my band with all of the throwing up! Now I am scheduled for an upper GI to confirm it and I'm on liquids until further notice. My suggestion is put yourself on liquids and avoid throwing up! Call your doc on Monday!

I'm in the same boat, my fill was wednesday. I was pretty good until yesterday. I had ham for lunch and then some Tomato. The tomato made my stomach acidy. I'm trying prilosec first seeing I didn't have a problem at first. Im not hungry at all and only threw up today when tried to eat yogurt while still sort of stuck. Protien shakes go down fine so I'm not starving.

You may be too full or you be just swollen. I would stop eating solids for now and get on liquids/protein shakes. Get your appointment scheduled for Tuesday!!!!!

I stuck to Soup & yogurt for the past 24 hrs & a lil bit ago I was able to slowly eat 2 pieces of lunch meat :) I work nights so I'm going to wait until I wake up & see how things r going down. I know if I call tues I will be able to get in. Thanks for all the advice I appriciate it greatly.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
