12 Days to S-Day

Hello All!

This is my first post and I wanted to say Hi! I am due for surgery in about 12 days!! I am really excited but am also a bit weary,.. I know this is the best direction for me and had a few questions.

I do have a nutritionist but wanted to find out if any of you had any similar experiences,

for the week before I am limited much like most of you to a full liquid diet, (Muscle Milk Light, low fat pudding, 0% yogurt etc) however I have a Blendtec Blender that can basically Liquify veggies and fruits, is this an acceptable Meal Replacement? or should I wait till the "mushy food" stage before using my blender for this?

Thanks all and I look forward to seeing you guys as a skinnier and healthier me :)

Jonathan

Welcome! You will find these boards are a valuable resource during your lap band journey (I do!).

I would wait until the mushy stage to blenderize solid foods. Double check with your nutritionist just to be sure though. Mine gave me a list of good food choices to eat at each stage, so don't be afraid to ask.

Keep us posted on your surgery and good luck!
