Unjury or Syntrax Nectar

Recommended Posts

I have a long list of Protein supplements that I need to take- but the nutritionist recommended these two as being the best. I don't trust her because she's skinny  Has anyone tried these before I purschase them? Which flavors are the best?

She recommended I add 1 scoop of strawberry Sorbet Unjury to 8oz of fruit flavored Crystal Light Sunrise Classic Orange or Raspberry Ice. I love Crystal Light so that shouldn't be a problem as long as the Unjury isn't horrible.

She also said I could add Choc. or Van. Unjury into skim milk- has anyone tried any of these and what's it like?

They said I only have to do the diet for 1 week if my BMI is less than 45-which it is. I think I can survive 1 week.

Did anyone order them online? How long does ittake to get delivered and is it delivered in a private sort of package?

Thanks for all the input!

I hadnt tried the strawberry unjury, but I love the vanilla and chocolate ones. The chocolate when mixed with milk tastes like chocolate milk to me which I love. Everyones taste is different though. A lot of people like the Bariatric Advantage, I tried it and thought it was horrible. If you go to the Unjury site they have atrial box with 2 chocolates, 2 vanilla, 2 strawberry, and 2 chicken Soup flavor packets, Aldo comes with a meat thermometer and a bottle to mix

the shakes in. Thats what I got at first. The chicken Soup flavor is the only Protein I got during clear liquid stage and it wasn't bad.

As for they syntax nector, I never tried it, so I can't advise on that

I have had both. I liked the unjury chocolate mixed with milk. I only use the Syntrax nectar powders now for all my Protein shakes. I prefer mixing the fruit flavored ones with Crystal Light to enhance the flavor. The chocolate Truffle is my Breakfast staple. I have also added mints, ice, and sf no-fat choc fudge pudding mix to make a Mint Chocolate Protein shake. Great stuff. I'd advise having a good blender though to mix things properly. I have a Vitamix and it works great.

Favorites:

Chocolate Truffle

Roadside Lemonade - w/ Rasperry Lemonade Crystal Light

Twisted cherry - w/ Cherry Pomengranate Crystal Light

I was also going to suggest that you get the sample box from Unjury. This will give you a chance to try the different flavors before you commit to buying a large quanitity. One of my favorite drinks during my pre-op phase was the strawberry Unjury added to Crystal Light lemonade...it tastes like strawberry lemonade and was a nice break from all of the vanilla and chocolate Protein Shakes (which can be a bit much after a while). I didn't like the Unjury chicken Soup Protein Powder because it lumps up if you heat it too much and I don't like lukewarm soup (the taste was good, just couldn't handle the temperature).

I have not tried Unjury, but I am actually sipping on a Syntrax Nectar right now. I like the Roadside Lemonade and the Pink Grapefruit flavors. I have also tried Fuzzy Navel (which is more peach than orange, so if you like peach, you may like this) and Vanilla Torte, which I thought was nasty. I think if you order nectar online it's around $25 but if you get it at Vitamin Shoppe you can return it if you don't like it. It's around $35 at Vitamin Shoppe, but for me it was worth it because I returned both the Fuzzy Navel (too peachy for me) and the Vanilla and got the Pink Grapefruit and Lemonade. Good Luck!

I've ordered the sample packs from both unjury and nectar....

Unjury chocolate and vanilla, I mix either with skim milk or almond milk and it tastes like a milkshake.

I've had a few of the nectar flavors, mixed with Water, and they're ok....I need to find more ways to drink those samples...

I've also ordered the sample pack from "The Incredible chocolate Milk Diet" powders and like them...

All 3 orders online came in within a week. Fast shipping, I thought.

Good luck!

let me know what you find!

I picked up the Nectar- Twisted cherry yesterday and I'm in love with it. I shop at the Vitamin Shoppe which carries 8 different flavors an I will eventualy try all of them because they are garanteed and if I don't like it I can switch for another flavor and it mixes well with a spoon and Water. The next flavor I want to try is the Choc. Truffel I've heard a few people rave about the Choc Truffel. I would also like to try the Vanilla wafer flavor mixed with the Twisted Cherry, I bet that would be good. Also I only paid $35.00 for a 2lb container. Make sure you pruchase it at a Vitamin shop that garenties the product.

I use unjury. Yes - order the sample box and try them mixed with different things. I think if you go to the Unjury website there is a place that lists "recipes" and different ways to use the Protein mix.

I am a picky eater - the only flavors I use are strawberry and Chocalate. I mix the strawberry with Water and add Lemonade Crytal light. The chocolate I mix with skim milk. I am almost a year out now and am tight in the am making it difficult to eat solids first thing in the am - I still drink a shake every morning as my Breakfast - keeps me feeling "full" till lunch.

I order my supply from Unjury - easy to order online. It is around $60 (including shipping) for 3 containers - they are delivered in an unmarked box. My doctor carries it also but charges $24 for a container and the hospital pharmacy carries it also but charges $32 for a container.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
