what otc meds are okay to take

I think I am coming down with a head cold and would like to take something. What can I take? No asprin or advil products, correct? I have a call into office but they have not called back yet. thx! :mellow:

    I've been mainlining Ny-Quil type liquid medicine for the past couple of days-- it has tylenol, which is the ok pain reliever but I'm mostly taking it for the cough suppression.
