Soreness in the stomach

Hello All,

I am 1 week and 4 days post op. I pretty much got rid of the gas, drinking all of my Protein shakes and liquids. I feel as good as to be expected BUT I can feel me healing inside, I guess where the band is and it is soooo sore. It feels like a big cut with a scab on it. I guess I just want to get back to when I was pain free. LOL!

How long did it take you to heal at least healed enough to bend or drive?

My dr said couldn't drive for a week and I couldn't. I tried but I got dizzy. My pain was better after 5 days or so, but really gone after a week. Hang in there it gets better pretty quick for most people.

It took me about 8 weeks before there was no soreness and I could bend over without cringing. Everyone heals a different rate. I was like you. I thought I'd be up and around in 3 days. Not so. I was very slow to feel better and it was 10 days before I stopped using any pain pills. (I think I have a high tolerance for pain so this was unusually for me.)

Good luck!
