Please describe the green zone or the feeling of restriction

It really isn't a "feeling". It takes a few days to a couple weeks to know for sure. But the green zone (or sweet spot) is when you reach restriction that allows you to:

  1. Be full on a small amount of food (around a cup for me)
  2. Stay satisfied several hours until your next meal (5+ hours for me)
  3. Are consistently losing weight (when I was in weightloss phase, at least 2 lbs per week

Yes - for me, I felt full faster right from when I started eating food again post-op, don't know how much of that was mental. And I agree with the others above, that I would not feel hunger for a long time and I was consistently losing weight. But I have to say, I also think that you are at a good restriction when you cannot consume liquid super quickly anymore. Like, you kind of can tell that it stops for a second and then passes. That was kind of my OKAY, here is restriction moment. Right now, I really don't ever feel hunger and I definitely have to sip.
