Lady parts question

Recommended Posts

Ok. Now it is my turn to ask something embarrassing. I have been married to my dh for 12 yes and thought for the last 5 or so that the loving was lacking excitement for me just due to the fact we had been together so long ad "done it all" in bed and that it was normal for things to get kinda vanilla (plain) in that area of our lives. But now that I have been losing weight and have more energy we are having sex more often which is good. And it is more exciting and I am more sensitive down there and he even said he could tell a difference. Was my fat lady bussiness to blame for our lack of lust? Well I am glad that is resolving now! Anyone else have this experience?

I've certainly had the energy renewal!! And I look and feel different "down there" but sadly, no increase in sensitivity. I think that has a lot to do with my age (48) and generally things just getting less sensitive overall, not anything to do with the banding.

I am only 24 and feel the same way. But i could be how we feel about our bodies before the lap band versus after. Before we are at our wits end with our body and after we have renewed hope. At least that is what i hope i feel when/if i get approved. :/

I fell the same way im more sensitive, and my as they call it "fat pad" has shrunk down so I notice things more i guess. I have also notice on certain occasions when the dh is focusing dwn there that hes not having to move skin around, are part the seas idk how to explain it without being to graphic, haha but it makes me feel really goo that he doesnt now ive oly lost 25lbs so far and there actually is a big difference.

OH and ps is anyone else having dry skin issues or itching where your skin is shrinking? I am and its in an awkward place, its on the side where leg and lady part meet, like where ur underwhere goes and a little inner hard to explain. But it like dry skin and itchy!! idk what to do!!

I have had that before. After my shower and after I dry off very good, I put a layer of baby powder before I put on my panties. It keeps it from rubbing. It went away after a few days.

Good luck.

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
