JULY 2010 BANDSTER!!! ANYBODY WANT TO CHECK IN???

Recommended Posts

I am curious to hear how all of the July 2010 Bandsters are doing! So far so good for me although I have hit a plateau and not lost anything for the last month and a half, I have maintained and not gained anything back.

I had a fill early January and ended up being WAY too tight, had .3 cc's removed and felt much better but had lost 11 lbs in 6 days. I have managed to keep even that off which puts me at 55 lbs lost.

So for now I am trying to figure out how to get the weight dropping again. I have an appointment for a fill tomorrow and maybe this will be what I need to get moving again.

So that is it for me for now... Would anyone else like to share? :D

Glad you started this topic. Ive been curious too where everyones progress was that was banded in July. I feel like my weightless is going pretty slow, but I am thrilled that I have lost. I was banded on July 23rd. I weighed 255 and am down to 210 so I've lost about 45 lbs. I'm averaging about a pound a week. Two months after my initial surgery I did have to have another surgery because my port flipped. I kinda wonder if that had an effect on my weightloss. Im really needing to get back in gear. This past month has been hectic and I've really slacked off on my diet and exercise. But today is a new day! Congrats on your weightloss. Would love to hear from some other July Bandsters as well.

Banded July 9th. Am down 67 lbs. 18 more until goal. Weightloss has slowed down considerably though so I'm aiming to be at goal by my "bandiversary" Feb has been a really slow weightloss month for me and my frustration is setting in a bit.

Thanks for responding everyone!! I guess the closer you get to goal the slower the weight comes off. I was banded July 14 and I do have to admit that my exercise habits have slacked off considerably and it is hard to get back in the groove! :(

Congrats to us all on our accomplishments! I have another 35 to goal and I am praying that I can have it off by the summer :D

Would love to hear from some others!! It is encouraging to hear the success stories and maybe we can be a motivator for those that are struggling.

Hello

I was banded July 31st in Belgium and to date have lost 76 pounds and nearly 65 inches.

Very happy and have 25 pounds to go to my 101 pound loss. Have lost every week which has been very good and I know unusual.

Please see this link if you are interested in my story: http://www.lapbanduk.org/t29-mummiesbb-journal

Well done to everyone a loss is a loss and it's not going to come back which is such a positive thought!

Good luck for the rest of your journey.

All the best

Claire

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
