Your recommendations for best mushies

Next weekend I will have reached the point in my post-op that I can eat mushies. After 4 weeks of nothing but protein drinks I am ready. Sooooo... what is a good mushie to eat?

Fat free Refried beans with shredded cheese!

I liked chili and oatmeal :)

I ate a lot of cottage cheese. Wow... don't know if I could have done it for a month. I got to start mushies after one week!

Refried beans (any type of mashed beans), cottage cheese, ricotta cheese baked with spaghetti sauce and mozzarella, applesauce, tuna, hummus, etc.

I am on mushies right now, my favorite is mixing tuna fish (one can drained), an egg white, and 1/3 cup of cheese together like a burger patty and grill it til brown on both sides!! Yummy!!!

"Chocolate Treat"

1/2 large box of sugar-free fat-free chocolate pudding mix

1 cup low fat cottage chesse

4 egg whites

6-8 packets of Splenda

Mix together in a blender. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes.

Good luck and yay for mushies  !!!

I am on mushies right now and i can't wait to try the ricota baked with marinera and Mozzarella cheese. I also am looking forward to the refried Beans.

Good Topic!

I would fry egg whites using PAM and at the very end add fat free cottage cheese with chives. Leave in pan until it cheese gets melty. Chobani fat free Greek yoghurt with fruit (I used a stick blender though I don't know if I really needed to), I also thinned it down with 1 tablespooon of milk.

How exactly do you make the ricotta with spaghetti sauce? Just mix it together and put cheese on top?
