Okay, tonight I discovered something truely gross.

When you PB on chopped creamed spinach, it's form doesn't change from pre-PB to post-PB.

I don't think I can ever look at it the same ever again.

I remember having a similar experience while puking spaghettios during a stomach flu (pre-band). Very disturbing.

Ewwwwwwww! :)

Hm almost as bad as watching your kid throw up unchewed cocktail frankfurts, eeeew. Literally one bite swallow. I think you call them weiners, lol.

When I was a physiotherapy student and we did dissection on human bodies, we looked for the carrot gland in the abdominal cavity, lol. Where do the carrots come from?

Isn't it amazing we always look at what comes back, hoping to determine what caused the damn slime/pb anyway. I usually find myself saying to myself, so that's what caused this.

Ewww. my cousin ate & puked Teddy Grahams once, and they were still Teddies when they came back up.

I'll confess something kinda related. I rarely upchuck - twice in the last 20 years. Last time was a la stomach virus. I'd eated hamburger pizza for dinner. Long story short - chucked the next afternoon. Couldn't make it to the bathroom so I hit an empty/unlined trashcan. If I see puke or hear someone puking, then I'll puke too, so I couldn't "pour" the "trash" into the sink or toilet - the sound would have made me chuck again. So I put the trashcan in the shower on its side, close my eyes, and try to blindly maneuver the showerhead so that it's spraying up inside the can. Well I give up and look. My first thought is more panic than thought, "WTF? Do I have some kind of stomach parasite? What parasite looks like THAT?" and I'm completely freaked out b/c among the now-very-wattered-down unsavory bits in the shower, there are thin black wriggly things floating around in the tub. It really freaked me out for a minute or so until I realized... ohhhhh... stomach acid must turn pickle rind black. I was seeing the wavy pickle slice "skins" from my hamburger pizza. :(

Wheetsin that would get me freaky deaky too. Its funny how your vision blurrs when you upchuck. But dont you always feel better when your done? Doesnt everyone? I always say better out than in.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
