Suggestions for an ice crushing, regular sized blender.

Recommended Posts

I'd prefer to not to spend more than $100 (less is best) because money is tight. Walmart seems to have nice ones for $30-$40.

Thanks!!!

I use the Ninja blender that they carry at Walmart. It comes with two different size pitchers. I think I paid around $40.

I didn't know if a regular blender would work as good as the Magic Bullet does...so I got it from Target. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I have made all sorts of fabulous creations with it.

I love my Osterizer. And some Walmarts carry small personal size attachments for making smoothies. I did buy it at Walmart, not sure what I paid, but I am sure it was well under $100.00.

I hated to clean a large blender everytime I made myself a shake. So I found this fablous Hamilton Beach 14 oz single serve with a travel lid. It cost 19.99 at best buy also target has them. The model number is 51103. Take a look on line its great and I love to be able to walk around and drink shake then just wash it up quickly.

Yes love the hamilton beech personal blender. Holds about 20 ounces and you drink directly from the container. Only one thing to wash. They are at Walmart for $15!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
