Congrats! I was also down a pound this morning! :)

The weekends are my downfall so I'm thinking a Monday weigh in will help keep me on track!

I would love to be a part. My goal is to be 215 on New Years Day. That would put me at the weight I was when I got pregnant with my daughter Uhhhh 15 years ago. OMG thats a long time. I have been a little worried, as last saturday I had a pbing epesode. Then by Monday it seemed I could eat more than before, as if restriction was alot less. I feel fine and scheduled a fill. Of course you read all the stuff on here about Slippage. and your mind goes crazy with fear. I think I am good and just need a fill. Any way this should be fun. Good luck to all of us. Looking forward to a great New Year. 2.33 lbs a week better hit the Gym more.

Lakegirl,

You will find that restriction varies day to day and even morning to evening. It's a common thing.

It looks like I gained the 2 of the 3 1/2 lbs I gained. I cant seem to shake it. I have been working out to include the couch to 5 k program and I have been so ravenous. I am premenstrual. I stayed within 1000-1300 calories this wknd and to no avail. I ate so much yesterday it was ridiculous. seem Like I couldnt get full. I am going to see if I can push up 1st fill appt by a couple of days

I'd like to join. I went back to running yesterday for the first time in months! I just cannot seem to get back into this exercise thing. I've been working alot of OT lately, but have to remember to get my ME time in! So....10 pounds is my goal. That's 1 pound per week (that would be fabulous since I've been fluctuating between 173-179 for months now!!!). I've got 35 pounds to go to be at the weight my doc said would be ideal for me so...let's go and good luck!

Hi everyone,

I am down 84 pounds since mid-January but have set myself a personal goal of losing at least 100 pounds by December 31st. I would love some company and a place to check in daily to talk about my triumphs and trials through the next 12 weeks. Would anyone like to join me and set a personal goal and share the thrill of meeting it and getting the new year off to a thinner and healthier start? If so, post your goal and check back regularly!

I am so proud of you. May I ask what type of foods you are eating and how much? Thanks. I ned alot of help and encouragement I have had my band for almos two years in Jan and Ihave only 5.1 cc in my 10cc banc my stomach does not allow my band to go over 5.3 for some odd reason.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
