Do you all notice extra restriction when your pants are too tight?

And BLAH to the fact that my stupid pants are too tight!

Yes and when I am sitting compared to standing and the belly slightly rolls on top of the jeans and backs up to the band. I was slouching really bad the other night and my band hurt for like 5 hours after I realized I had been sitting that way for so long. I hope I didn't stretch somethin

Shoot even without the band, tight pants makes you restrictive. Thats why I would never go to a buffet in anything other than my stretchy leggins ROFL !!!!

I don't know. I haven't noticed. Could it be that I haven't worn jeans or tight pants since college? Do you know how long ago that was?!!! If it doesn't have a stretchy soft waist band, it doesn't fit over my a$$. :D

Silly me, I only ate a few bites of salad yesterday due to my tight pants. Why the hell have I sent over $10,000 on surgical procedures when I could have a had a new wardrobe instead?

All kidding aside, tight pants give me reflux symptoms (no, it is not the acidic gallon of soda so shut up.)

I think you are right. How many times have I leaned back on the couch after a big meal (like Thanksgiving) and opened the top button on my pants...

Hmmmm. The tight pants diet.

I think there is a book in this.

YES! Definitely. One of the biggest lessons I have learned about being overweight. -- I NEVER should have stopped wearing my tight jeans to begin with!

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
