I'm down another 2.5 this week. I weigh myself on Saturdays only (otherwise I would drive myself insane). I likely won't make my original goal of 20 lbs in this challenge, but I'm so happy with my restriction and steady loss right now that I don't care.

It took 3 months before my band was really working, so now that it is, I am thrilled.

My goal for this week: more time in the gym!

Thanks all for the support and info. You are the best.

I record my weight on Saturdays too. I'm plugging along although I feel a little behind. Updating my ticker today; I am a little. Gonna try to kick up the exercise a little next week and see what happens.

Quick edit, checked my original LD goal and I reached it this morning!! :scared2: 18lbs down, woo! Let's keep it going

I lost 4 lbs this week!!!!! I think I might make my goal of 16.6 lbs by labor day as I am only 3.2 lbs away from my goal n we have two more weeks to go.

Ok- rough last 2 weeks - only 1 pound down, but on the other hand, I am also very proud of my self - last week went on a cruise and lost a pound! 2 weeks left until the end of the challange - and 4 weeks to get to this mini goal - I CAN DO IT!

Guh. Definitely not going to succeed at this challenge - GAINED 2 pounds over last week, probably because I overdid it at Friendlys this weekend in a fit of frustration and self-pity. I probably should not have signed up for a challenge prior to getting an actual restrictive fill. :)

I go for another fill on Wednesday, and my doctor is pretty aggressive with them, so hopefully I'll be out of my funk and back on track.

I am so excited to finally be in Onderland as of this morning. I didn't make the July 4th challenge, but I feel pretty confident that I will make the Labor Day challenge. I have 4.5 lbs. to go and I get a fill next Monday. Finally...I was stuck for over 2 weeks, but I have been working by butt off, literally in the gym. Good luck, everybody.:)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
