eating alot, can't wait for 1st fill

Ok, now I can basically eat what I did before (maybe slightly less) and I find myself just shoveling it in b/c I can. I am so frustrated now. Why can I eat like this? Then I worry that I've hurt my band somehow lioke stretching or something. I get my 1st fill in 9 days and I'm so ready! Hopefully they won't say I've dislocated my band from eating too much!

this is normal. You are healing right now, not about loosing weight. I had my first fill 6 weeks post op, that was 2.5 weeks ago. I was full for a few days and then im back to eating and hungry. I have another fill on Wed. I think i should have had a fill at about 5 weeks, i know i could not but the way i was feeling i now need another. I have gained 2 pounds this weekend. I can not wait until Wed for sure!

I had my first fill a week ago. It was exciting...I feel like a REAL bandster now lol. But I don't feel any different. I have another appointment for 2 weeks time. I think I'll be needing the second (or more) fill.

Hang in there :)

Been there done that.....see the t shirt. LOL It's normal but I understand you just don't want to do it. Write down everything you eat. Are you drinking enough water? Be sure not to drink and eat at the same time. I found that if I started my day with a protein shake it help to curb my appitite and when I did eat I made sure I had sugar free. What are you eating? Sugar Free popsicles are a life saver, not so many calories and sweet tooth satisfying.
