Whillow-- are you satisfied on 4 to 6 ounces of food and does it sustain you for 3 to 4 hours? Are you having stuck episodes or PBing? Do you feel like you need it?

Sorry for all the questions, just want to get more info before I give my .02 I was shocked today. My doc told me I had perfect restriction---really? News to me LOL

I am pretty good with 4-6 oz of food.. occasionally dinner is a little more than that ---

I have the once in a while stuck episode - from not chewing enough or too fast or the wrong type of food.. Pasta doesnt seem to work for me at all anymore -

I have pbing a couple days a week.

and I have lost 4 lbs in the last 2 weeks..

I Guess im afraid if i cancell this appointment ill need a damn fill the next day lol,,, also afraid if i get it i will be too tight like i was with this one,, took a good 2 weeks for me to be able to eat comfortably......

I had the same issue. I had an appointment coming up and didn't think I needed a fill. I called far enough in advance to get an appointment about a week after. Appointment is tomorrow and I feel like I need at least a slight fill. I like the idea of a just incase appt. It takes about 2 weeks notice to get in to see my doc.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
