I think I am too tight??

Recommended Posts

I had a fill on the 24th bringing me to 4cc - went back to weeks late to make sure all 4cc was there because they thought i might have a leak, at the time they added anothe 1cc bringing me to 5 that was on the 4th. since then i have been having a hell of a hard time - liquids are find if taken slowley - smooth Soups like tomatoe are ok -

anything solid resulst in pain, pb'ing a few instances of vomiting.

I dont know if i am too tight, eating to fast or too much -

I am full on 3 oz of yogurt - just not sure whether to call for an unfill or not.

help please..i feel horrible

Whillow, having been where you are, I sympathize. Listen to your body, "I feel horrible" says call for a small unfill. Even .1cc or .25cc can make a tremendous difference. We are supposed to have real food without feeling bad. Best wishes and good luck.

I agree. I had a fill that was too tight and ended up prolapsing my band. throwing up is your body's way of letting you know something is not right!

It's been eight days. That's quite a while. You may need to call your doctor and get that "slight unfill" everyone talks about. Best wishes!!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
