How long before I get the surgery?

I will be seeing my possible future surgeon tomorrow. What is the time frame from my consult to the actual surgery date? I have 1199 SEIU insurance. Is it mandatory to go to the seminar. Why go to that if I have an hour long consult with the surgeon?

    It depends on many things. Will you use insurance?

    Different Dr.s have different requirements.

    In my case, I was self pay. I had a consult with the surgeon and had surgery 2 weeks later. That's all I had to do.
