Banded 12-31-09

Hi, My name is Sherri and I am from Missouri. I was banded on 12-31. I am new to the board. All of your posts are very helpful. I am doing well with the liquid diet, but I am a little concerned with the pureed diet. I just don't know if I can eat pureed chicken and fish. Do you have to puree it or can you just break it up and chew it really well? Any help or recipes would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Now very doc is different so I'm only telling you what mine ok'd, I was told that I could eat tuna and chicken from the can as long as it was moist and I chewed REALLY well. The canned version is in a juice so Just didn't drain it.

You know, just the thought of pureed meat makes me sick! Yucky! Um, I ditto that all docs are different and after my 1 week follow visit when he said I could move to full liquids, he said just to proceed at my own pace...so I went from full liquids to mushies to meat in about 1.5 weeks time. Whatever you decide to do, just go slow.
