I am beyond excited.

I met my surgeon on Dec 7th, I start my 2 week pre-op diet on Dec 29th, and get my band on Jan 12th.

I will be banded on January 12th too!!! However, it will be in Upstate NY. I do not have any pre-op paperwork yet... Maybe I should call my surgeon? I was there yesterday and gave them the paperwork I need them to fill out for me to take the time off work.

The only paperwork I have is the list of things I can eat for the 60 days after surgeory.

Will you be spending New Years on the liquid diet too?

This is my first post I started all of this in August 2009, I didn't post because I was waiting for my surgery to be approved.... Just heard yesterday that I am approved,,, I am so excited. hello, i'm also getting my band on jan.13th. the only paperwork I had was the online app. and the doc visit which was 12-23-09. and it was alot of it, so be prepared to be in the clinic for a couple of hours.

This is my first post also. I started the process in August as well. I was denied by my insurance and then reversed. My surgery is scheduled for this coming Monday, December 28th. I am happy and nervous at the same time.

Hey... You were banded on Monday... How are you doing? please tell!?

I am doing ok. Still taking Gas X and on clear liquids, doing a lot of walking. I did not sleep too good last nite but read that a lot of other bandsters had the same problem. I have been cat napping today. Overall the experience was not bad. Feel free to ask me any other questions.
