  1. Good luck tomorrow. I will be sleeved on Tues.
  2. Good luck on your surgery. I am being sleeved on the 19th, only 6 days before you. I found the first 3 days were the hardest on the liquid diet, but then it gets easier.
  3. Wow, I would be shocked to have to get ready that much sooner. But, so glad that the sooner date worked for you. I will be sleeved on the 19th, so just 3 days before you.
  4. Good luck on Monday, I am going to be sleeved on Tues. I can't wait to hear how you are doing when you are home.
  5. Great story!! Thank you for sharing your story, I really enjoyed it.
  6. I am on day 4 of my pre op liquid diet too. Today is significantly better. I am hungry, but not ravenous like the first 3 days. I think my headache has finally gone away too. Although, I will admit that I cheated on day 2 and 3, but no more of that, I can't and I know I can't. I have also lost over 9 lbs. I only have 8 days of liquid, my surgery is on the 19th, I see you don't have surgery until the 25th. Good luck!!
  7. Glad to hear you are home and that things are going pretty good for you.
  8. That is great!! They told me that if I am off my IV and can control pain with the meds they give me, I'll be able to go home the next day too. I hope I can.
  9. I am so glad you feel well enough to post. Get your rest and I can't wait to hear how you are doing when you get home.
  10. I have the same date as you. I drive school bus and was concerned about being ready to go back, but I don't start until Aug. 29th. I wish you the best of luck.

  18. I am so glad to hear that everything went so well.
  19. I am scheduled for the 19th. I will be starting my pre op on Monday the 11th. It is great that you have such a support system.
  20. I am scheduled for the 19th. I am excited. My family is so busy between now and then which really helps to keep my mind off of things. I have to start my liquid diet on the 11th. I see my surgeon one last time on the 1st and have my pre-op testing that day too. Good luck everyone and I'll be here if anyone needs support and I'll be watching to see how everyone ahead of me is doing.
  21. Mine was being sent to the insurance company today!! I am so nervous. I have done everything that is required of me so I hope the approval is not a problem. I already have my surgery date for July 19th.
  22. Hi, I am getting sleeved on July 19th with Dr. Rogers at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. I am getting so excited!! Dianne
  23. Congratulations on getting your date. You are 2 days behind me, I am having mine on the 19th. Dianne
  24. I finally have a surgery date and it is July 19th. I started this journey back in Oct. and I am now just a month away, it felt like it would never come. I am so excited to get this done. I needed to come here to read tonight because my husband has been talking about how worried he is about everything and anything about this surgery and honestly, I haven't had a second thought since I started this whole journey. I asked him if he would just give me his support and he said he would support me, but he was worried. Thank you everyone for posting your stories, the good and the bad, because I do feel that I have learned so much and know that it isn't going to be all roses at first, but that I will love my sleeve. I can't wait. Dianne
