I've been at this since Nov 2010 and finally I was approved by Cigna and got my date today....July 21st!!! Yipee!!!! Not sure what to think, it's been a long time coming and I'm excited for a new beginning but not looking forward to the first month or so....I know....everyone says that!!!! I wanted to do this by the end of this month but took to long for approval and my daughters both have b-days in early July so I want to be able to do parties ect! Well, thanks for all the support so far and I'll sure I'll be needing more as the days pass....God Bless, Tracy W.

Congratulations on getting your date. Keep in mind this is the rest of your life. Your eating habits at your daughters birthdays in the future may not change all that much from the liquid diet of this year. The important thing is that you become healthier and live a longer life so that you will be able to attend all of your daughters birthday parties for many, many years. You will do fine and this is one small sacrifice for the good of the future. Your daughters will be happy and so wrapped up in their birthday, they may not even notice you not eating.
