  1. Well heck.... I'm happy for you. LOL. I can't speak from experience because I am only 10 days post op, single, and currently not dating. But I have heard that depending on the medications you might be on and how long you stay hydrated it might correct itstelf.
  2. Being single myself, I am also interested in the answers to this thread.
  3. My experience is that you shouldn't tell EVERYONE. But you will need key members of your family and friends to understand what you are going through. Being 10 days post op myself and the emotional aspect of the surgery taking place, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have the close people in my life that knew what I just went through and why. It may mean you have defind yourself to your brother or loved ones, explaining why you feel you need the surgery. People tend to act like it is something you don't need because they are thinkin that is what you need to hear. Others really do think it can be controled with eating and exercise. I had the surgery because I couldnt do it alone. I hope this has helped at least a little.
  4. Good luck!!! I was there 10 days ago. Just remember you will get better everyday. And small sips and walk lol.
  5. Tiffy where in the world did you find your husband? Where ever it was I need to move there.
  6. I heated the can of potatoe soup... lol... No seriously I heated it up but I cooked it on low for about 20 minutes to make sure that the pieces of potatoe were soft, then I ate those pieces slow while eating the soup.
  7. I think I would freak out if I was you. And I would also be on the phone first thing Tuesday morning.
  8. wow ... all I can say is wow... :svengo: my experiance was nothing compared to that
  9. Thanks Jillian, That makes me feel better.
  10. Well tonight I had my first stage of Full Liquids. I made mashed potatoes (soupy). They were so good because I was starting to feel hungry. The only thing that has me concerned is that I ate 4 ozs of them before I was full. It seemed like alot for me post op. What do you guys think?
  11. Thanks Guys, I know she is trying to help. The one's she got are front closured so they are easy enough to put on and take off. I am not sure what will happen with my breasts. Wearing them while I sleep isn't really an issue because well I am single lol, and they are comfortable enough. I just wasn't sure if people have heard that this might help or might not. Thanks
  12. I have heard that the hip hop abs are really good. I will be looking into that myself as soon as the doctor oks me to get back to exercising. I have a membership but I need something to keep me busy when I am not at the gym.
  13. Hey guys, Wanted to get everyone's take on this. My mother decided to help me and she ordered me a few sports/leisure bras in different sizes. Her line of thinking is that since I am 6 days post op and will be losing weight fast it would help my breast during this phase if I slept in these bras. Opinions?
  14. Oh heck... I'm going to the store to get that LOL
  15. I have heard that too I hope that I will go back to how I was and crave ice cold water. But i will live with it if I have to.
  16. I have to agree, some days I can do Crystal lite mixes with my water but I do try the ocean spray and it gives move of a fruit drink or juice feel and it's easier to drink. I tend to be able to drink more if it's ice cold. Including popcicles. But I also live in Florida so that might explain that lol. Try different mixes and try different amounts of that mix with the water. I hope it helps. Good luck
  17. Congrats and nice work... I can't wait to see if I can have that much success in my first month
  18. I think it is all a matter of how you recover. I am Day 6 post op and can't image going back to work today. I am still having bad gas pains. But It's getting better so time for me will probably be 2 weeks.
  19. That is wonderful... CONGRATS
  20. Welcome Will, I suffer from anxiety and the only thing that helped me was coming her often almost daily. The people on this site are helpful, honest, and so nice to be in contact with. I wish you luck and ask away. :biggrin0:

  22. I love Greek Yogurt but I think I like it so much because of the consistancy. But When I compared it to my other favority yogurt the protein and calaries were very different in favor of the greek yogurt.
